Hey
everyone! My name is Kela Miller. I am from a small town called Citronelle,
Alabama. Citronelle is about 35 minutes North of Mobile, Alabama. I am
currently a student at the University of Southern Mississippi. This is my third
year of college but only my second semester here at the University of Southern
Mississippi. I attended two years at Faulkner State Community College in
Bayminette Alabama. I am studying to be an elementary school teacher. Teaching
is definitely what I feel I am called to do with my life and I certainly cannot
wait for the day I finally reach my goal.
I
am creating this blog to keep track of my learning throughout this semester in
the class IT 365: Computer Applications in Education. This blog will contain
links to artifacts and assignments from my reflections as well as
accomplishments from meeting the NETS-T standards for the assignments that I
will complete as a student in this class this semester. The term NETS-T
standards refers to the National Educational Technology Standards. I hope that
with taking this class and learning all the criteria I will become a very well
educated young woman who will perform wonderfully with technology and that I will
be able to use my new skills throughout my future teaching career.
